The students that come to our school, have been sent to us as we provide a clinical treatment program to kids with social/behavioral issues that affect their ability to learn in a large, public school. We have children from all ethnic backgrounds, including students who are Spanish speaking. These kids come have so many issues to deal with outside of school, poverty, crime, abuse...At our school we try to provide as much positive experience as we can. Most of our kids are well below grade level, for a number of reasons. They are awesome kids who have just never had the chance to get ahead in their short lives...They want to learn and they want to contribute to society, we help teach them how.

About my class
