The students at my school come from low economic backgrounds in an rural setting. It was formed in 2011-2012, so it is still relatively new. Course offerings are growing each year. The school is almost at its maximum capacity. The media center is shared between the middle school and the high school. It was selected as one of seven pilot schools for the TEAM for Tomorrow program (Technology Enhancing Active Minds) that focuses on blended and personalized learning. My school received its AdvancED accreditation in 2016. School Improvement goals for 2016 are currently under revision, but the school continues to focus on EOC scores (Biology, Math I, and English II) as well as general literacy strategies and student engagement.
