My classroom is a safe haven for my students. Being a special education teacher I feel that my role is to be as inclusive as possible. I hope this project will help my students feel seen and heard in literature. My hope is this will make my students more excited to read! These books will be available to be checked out and taken home so our students have the opportunity to read at home. This will hopefully engage families in the learning to read process too. Thank you for supporting our class!
