Greetings and thank you for visiting my page. My name is Mrs. Harris and I'm proud to join Westover Hills Elementary as a first year teacher. My class will consist of 5th grade students learning Language Arts. Westover Hills is a Title 1, high poverty school and all students receive free lunch. That also means my students require additional resources and assistance to succeed. Although many of my students are faced with challenges that would even intimidate some adults, they are resilient and come to school with a positive outlook and are excited about learning. My goal is to plant the seeds of leadership in my students so that they will be empowered to blossom into global leaders that are in control of their own destinies.
