Mindfulness matters and my students and I practice this everyday. 90 % of my students live in poverty and come to school anxious and unable to learn. Through mindful education students are learning to self regulate their emotions so they can be the best learners. Perseverance, gratitude, optimism and compassion are just some of the key concepts that are taught all while learning about the brain and how powerful our minds are. Giving to my class helps support our future leaders, engineers, inventors and artists.
