My students have various abilities and art is accessible to everyone. These materials will be used to create a new classroom art center. This will give students the ability to create a community with building art and sharing it with classmates. Building a sense of community creates a safe learning environment to students. This new art center will provide access to all students to express themselves and relieve some stress or anxieties. "Art is not always about pretty things, its about who we are, what happened to us, and how our lives are affected." We will also be starting art project Fridays where students will be able to debrief from the school week and reconnect together as a class family.
