I need activities for my students to practice their skills while I work with those students who struggle with the material. I need quick and easy math/ reading center kits that students can be self sufficient in so they don’t have to disrupt my small group lessons. The equivalency center kit will be a visual support for those students who are still learning the English Language. When students feel like they are having fun they forget that they are learning which will help increase test grades as well. Practice makes perfect in the classroom also. Having these kits will not only make the skills seem fun, but also give my students a sense of responsibility. They will be able to complete a center on their own without help.
