I am part of a team of teachers that work with the 5th and 6th graders at our elementary school. The school is in a high poverty area in Indiana and qualifies for universal free lunch. We have a large percentage of English Language Learners (ELL) whose parents don't speak English. In spite of this, we have a high percentage of parent involvement.
