They kept asking \"what is in all of those\"? These are very inquisitive five and six year-olds. We had only been in school four days and we have boxes that are as tall as they are being brought in by our custodian had them wondering.\r\nThe following Monday when the students came in to the classroom and saw this table set up with cushion like chairs for them to use their wonder turned into excitement and awe. They immediately sat on the chairs and tried out the fit of the table height. Everyone got a turn to try out using the table and being comfortable doing different activities. \r\nWe are only in week four of our school year so we have not been able to use the table and chairs for much yet but so far it has made an amazing indoor recess plus plus station, a nice space for quiet iPad work, a small group table for letter work, and a nice sorting table for math. \r\nI cannot wait to keep using this table and chairs through the year and I know my students are just as excited to see what we use it for next!","fullyFundedDate":1746480194033,"projectUrl":"project/floor-seat-for-sure/9078089/","projectTitle":"Floor Seat For Sure!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Theeuwes","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2964505_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1711550289975","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2964505"},{"teacherId":8712377,"projectId":8721447,"letterContent":"Thank you so very much for the class set of POSCA Paint Markers. My students have been busy getting creative on all sorts of materials. Third grade students have been working on creating aliens for our upcoming Glowcase and have loved using the paint markers to add details on their model magic forms. Fifth grade students are busy building aliens from recycled goods and have found that the POSCA markers are a nice upgrade when using so many varied surfaces. \r\n\r\nWhen I first introduced the markers, kids were not, admittedly, wowed. But once they got to work trying them out on recycled cardboard, plastic soda bottles, plaster, foil, and glass jars, they couldn't stop commenting on how smooth and easy the markers were to use. They also really love the vibrancy of them on all surfaces. \r\n\r\nEven though only two classes have put them to use so far, I can not wait for a few of my other classes to give them a go on some ceramic pieces we are hoping to add bright details too. I just know the POSCA markers that you helped supply us with will be a big hit with both their ease in use and their marking ability. From all the varied surfaces in the art room and the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much!","fullyFundedDate":1733250150513,"projectUrl":"project/imagine-the-posca-bilities/8721447/","projectTitle":"Imagine the POSCA-bilities!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. FeeBouthot","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8712377_orig.jpg?crop=720,720,x294,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1664369774856","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8712377"},{"teacherId":9124117,"projectId":8665929,"letterContent":"Our classes K-5 are excited about the Spanish games in class. The students jumped with joy when I announced that these games were kindly donated to our school! They have connected with many vocabulary words during games and used them in sentences. The class's goal is to read, speak, write and hear Spanish. The games have been a great addition to our lessons. For instance, our curriculum emphasized all about animals in other countries and our Bingo game had wonderful vocabulary words that connected with our lesson at hand.
