My students are excited to get their hands on technology! These boys and girls along with their families very readily recognize the significance of incorporating technology in our classroom everyday. Many of my students do not have the means to access such learning experiences at home due to the economic needs of their families. My boys and girls have caregivers who truly appreciate the opportunities their child can have in our classroom and look forward to seeing great success this year. Providing my students with these six Fire tablets means they can experience learning in new and engaging ways - therefore feeding their excitement for learning. These experiences can in turn be shared at home. Students have access to one-on-one math coaching through the use of our iXL program, they can read books that are a good fit for them, and check their comprehension with the Raz Kids app. We access Google Classrooms to enhance our learning with math, STEM, and Virginia Studies. The possibilities are endless!
