I have a group of eighteen children that have a great passion to learn. My students learn best when they are using hands on materials to deepen their learning. Our school is located in the Bronx where families don't always have all the means necessary to provide tactile learning manipulative. I believe schools should level the playing field by providing these items. Unfortunately, our second year program does not have the funding necessary to provide these materials. I can't imagine a more fulfilling feeling than seeing the "aha" moments that are soon to come!
