My students are Spanish bilingual second are third graders who are always eager to learn and make discoveries. During the year they are in my classroom, the students are getting prepared in developing their English skills in the areas of listening, speaking, reading and writing. At the end of this year, these students are expected to exit out of the bilingual program and be successful in an English (ELD) only classroom. Our school, is a public elementary school, with an early exit bilingual program. Though, their English language might not be at level, compared to others, their minds are continuously thriving with ideas and thinking beyond their years. I love them!
