Being a support teacherat a Title I magnet elementary campus, I make sure that all students are given a chance to be successful by helping out all classroom and other support teachers. I monitor students at breakfast to make sure they are fed. We are blessed to have so many gifted students, but when we have a mix of title one, the gaps can be larger than it seen. Many of our English Language Learners and at-risk students are not exposed to the same opportunities, and it is a joy to be able to let them benefit, as the loss of opportunities can be a hindrance to learning in the classroom.
