My students are self motivating, hard working and inspiring to hear. They have competed the last few years and have won great awards. This year alone they took home 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards for band and drum line. The Lion Pride Band also took home Sweepstakes awards for Drum Major and drumline. The color guard went all year undeafeted and won Sweepstakes at every show they competed in this school year. We as a band have received over 40 trophy's in the last 6 years. These kids work hard and deserve everything they earn. Our school music program has become the "heartbeat of the school".
