We have many students with sensory processing disorders. This sensory room we want to establish is long overdue for these students to give them a break from the typical classroom setting. We have the location, we just need the supplies to make this project happen. Each of our students work very hard and often we can play songs or videos to give most of them a brain break. Our students with sensory processing disorders struggle with the typical brain break though! So, this room would be an awesome place for them to find a safe haven, spot to relax, or a place to get their frustrations out. This will in turn give them a reset to come back to the classroom and continue to be productive learners.
