Our classroom is a class full of eager and hard working first graders. For many of my students English is not their first language and they do not have a model at home to show them what it is to read a book fluently. Although my students don't have those models and that extra support at home, they have worked really hard to achieve their reading goal for the middle of the year. Now that we are heading towards the end of the year they are determined to keep pushing themselves and meet their end of the year goal. Our class is made up of students reading at many different levels and I would love to give all of them as much support as I can possibly can to help them not only reach their goals but to also keep their love for learning alive.
