The materials I am seeking for my preschool students will help them develop skills such as creative expression, inquiry, and literacy. Many of this items can and will be used for dual purposes. For example, the mixing of paints will not only be used at the art center for my student to showcase their artistic expression, but to also engage them in inquiry as to what will happen to the paint as we mix it. Items like the tissue paper squares, foam shapes, pipe stems, and magic craft noodles will allow my student more opportunity to be creative. Whether its by creating a collage or building a space creature, having these materials available will allow their creativity to run wild. Children learn through play! These materials allow my students to have a happier and richer preschool experience by filling their classroom with much needed supplies.
