I teach grades Pre-K to 5th grade, at 5 local elementary schools that include: Edahow, Gate City, Tyhee, Washington, and Jefferson Elementary schools. Although I have over 2,000 students, it is my goal to learn each students name and to let them know they are seen, they are cared about, I want to see them be successful! My young learners are very eager to learn new and develop new skills and build upon previous skills. It's my personal goal to change any negative mindsets about physical education by showing them that being physically active can be both fun and enjoyable, while at school or home. My lessons, skills, and activities are aimed to set students up for success! A positive mindset and helping them reframe their words, aides in attributing to a good attitude with skills and activities. I strive to show them various options besides the all familiar, general sports that are played in schools and leagues.
