My 4th grade classroom has a lot going for it, there is no doubt about that! I have had some wonderful help from donors to fulfill previous donation requests. These requests have helped make my classroom more engaging for my students. However, my school still remains in a low income community with very high free breakfast and lunch counts. Most of my students are English Language Learners. They come into my classroom needing to "catch up" to their peers in other classrooms and in other schools. As you might imagine, it is just plain difficult for our parents to help us out when we are in a pinch.
