Bloxels Game Builder allows students to take on the role of a game developer and create their very own video game. Video games are a fantastic way to reach students on an engaging and exciting level. Each of my classes will transform into a game development team while focusing on art style, story development, game mechanics, level design, and character creation. This medium allows us to explore topics across many disciplines. Historical figures, literary characters, and famous scientists can all come to life and star in their very own game! Teamwork and collaboration are invaluable skills that need to be cultivated at an early age to ensure success in the future. As each of my classes works towards game completion, each group will need to effectively communicate to create a cohesive and successful project. The applications are endless with the Bloxels Game Builder!
