My guitar classes are learning to play guitar, bass, drums, and keyboard. We do 3 performances per year at our school, and we're looking to expand outside the school. We need some more powerful amplifiers to play live. These two amplifiers will my classes the power they need to express themselves and let their voices be HEARD! Students in my guitar classes learn to write their own songs in addition to learning guitar, bass, and drum technique by performing classic songs and modern hits. Past performances include Franz Ferdinand, Ritchie Valens, Talking Heads, the Beatles, Queen, The Temptations, Cold War Kids, The White Stripes, Jimi Hendrix, Interpol, Radiohead, Vance Joy, Sam Smith, Michael Jackson, Pink Floyd, Arctic Monkeys, Bruno Mars, original songs, and more. But this isn't enough. We currently use practice amps, which are big enough to be heard in a small space like the classroom, but sound stretched and distorted in larger spaces like our auditorium. If we want to give our students the full experience of performing, and open their opportunities to perform outside of the school, they need some real gear!
