Right now my school only has a mix-matched set of outdated TI-83 calculators. They have no color screen and are very confusing to use. The newer version will allow my students to have the same advantages as other students who can afford them. My students are still watching VHS while other students have UHD Blu-ray. That is how to look at the technology difference they deal with on a day to day basis. Please help these students break the barrier to a great education! Without your help many of my students will not get over the technology gap to understand and use the concepts of advanced mathematics. For most of the parents in my community shelling out 140 plus dollars for a calculator is just not an option they can afford. Some of the parents don't understand why a 5 dollar calculator will not work. If you support this project you would be getting my classroom over half of the way to a class set. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for considering to help them find success where most have given up.
