Hello World,
I am a teacher who is traveling to Africa to climb the tallest mountain in Africa (Mount Kilimanjaro). I am climbing Kilimanjaro to help prove to my students that anything is possible.
Around a year ago, I was rushed to the emergency room because my appendix needed to be removed. Following surgery, I was unable to lift 5 pounds for four months.
In September, I began to train for Kilimanjaro. Over the course of 3 months, I have gained over 15 pounds during my training. My students are excited to see me potentially reach the top of the mountain.
During this time however, my students have lacked sufficient reading materials during independent reading time. To help raise awareness, I am seeking 19,341 pages of books (around 60 books) to help my students! Please consider donating!
