These chairs will provide my students along with Mrs. Dwyer's 7th grade students with comfortable seating while in Math Class! They will be seated 4 to a table, which I have built myself this summer! This will provide an amazing opportunity to collaborate with their classmates and provide us an opportunity to sit down with 4 students at a time and have small group instruction, instead of sitting at an individual desk that is probably 20 years old and wobbles. A new comfortable chair at a brand new table and working collaboratively with classmates will be an amazing experience! Sitting in an individual desk is a lonely situation! This makes students feel like they can not ask their classmates for help during class out of fear of getting in trouble for talking out of turn. On the other hand. sitting at a table in a new comfortable chair will allow them to feel like they can ask their classmates for help!
