My students will use the bean bag seats during read to self time. These seats will be situated in and around our rug. My students get read to self time for about 15 minutes each day. Not all my students read at the same time as they are reading their own just right book. This is their time to engage as a reader with a favorite book that will elevate their reading abilities. Having a comfortable and inviting addition to our library will allow my students to read in a relaxing manner and focus. This will enable my readers to have a positive feeling about reading.
