Many students find themselves at different points in their learning cycle this year due to Covid-19. Never before has our need to differentiate instruction been more important than it is this year! By providing quality headphones to the students, I will be able to provide personalized differentiated instruction to students who need to catch up or get ahead, while still teaching the rest of the class on our planned schedule. My students have done very well this year despite their disadvantages, and have found ways to make it work. By giving them the tools they need, they will be able to continue to catch up, recover lost high school credit and plan for their future courses. This will also help me significantly as there is a limit to how many places I can be at once in my classroom, and with so many students who are starting to need credit recovery, these headphones will help me significantly with personalized instruction for entire groups of students recovering those high school credits.
