The books will be used in the classroom library and for read alouds to enrich learning. Each book will open my students' minds to new worlds beyond ours. With every book read, my students broaden their horizons. We will use them to spark discussion about topics otherwise overlooked. Hard to teach topics, such as bullying, can be introduced in a way students can understand. The books will bridge the gap between my students and the world they live in. With their feet in the classroom and their minds in a book, there is no limit to the places they will go.
