We are a school located in beautiful Southern California, Hollywood. Although we live in the "Entertainment Capital of the World" our community is in a socioeconomically disadvantaged area. My students are enthusiastic and eager learners whose parents are hardworking and caring first and second generation immigrants who often struggle to achieve the American dream. Hollywood Primary Center is a public school that serves a community with economic problems and unfortunately our students are in need of resources and supplies that we simply cannot afford. My students are at most disadvantage when it comes to technology. They are Digital Natives learners and lack the tools to be successful in the technological age and therefore deserve the latest tools to motivate and enhance their learning experience.
