I am the Tech Facilitator in an elementary school with approximately 400 students. We are a high poverty, Title I school with over 50% of students receiving a free and reduced lunch program. All students at the school come to me for a Technology specials class once a week, on average. They use desktop computers and tablets to complete tasks that fit in with common core and state technology standards. Upper elementary students learn the basics of computer programming and digital citizenship. Younger elementary students learn apps for creation and skills practice on the tablets. All students have a school Google account this year so they are beginning to learn how to use Google apps productively in the classroom. The students are quick learners when it comes to the available technology and are eager to use it whenever they can. They are highly creative, caring, and absolutely love a chance to get out of the
