These magnetic building sticks and K'NEX sets will be used during Project Washkon. Project Washkon is our after school program for all students. Our program is designed to provide a safe place for all students to interact and build relationships from 3:30-6:30 daily. The magnetic building sticks and K'NEX sets will help encourage student to use problem solving skill while working in teams to design and construct moving machines. Each group will be responsible for building a machine and explaining how this machine could be useful in the real world. First, students will brainstorm ideas for the layout of their machine. Next, student will create a blue print and construct the machine. Lastly, students will present their machine to Project Washkon student and staff.
