My students are exceptional musicians. Every educator can agree that there is no better feeling than to see students have their first success at something they've never done before. As a music teacher in an elementary school, I see this first hand daily. The students at my school are hungry to learn music but oftentimes, crowded classrooms and lack of materials frustrate students because as budding musicians, they always want to be heard! There is no possible way to provide an accurate description of the student population at my school. Diversity amongst the student population certainly aids in having a rich culture of music throughout the entire school. It's this amazing background in music that really challenges the students to reach their potential and further music in their lives!
