As a former professional writer, I teach my students how important it is to be aware of the stories that exist in the world. This is why I say reading is such an important skill to have. My goal is to make my students become better readers through different skills I teach them in class. However, the books I currently have in my own class library are out of date and not at all relevant. By donating you would help build a classroom library set with books which would excite them and make them better, active and engaged readers.
