My students and I are excited by the fact that our classroom now has fifteen shared devices. It isn't quite 1:1, but we're closer than we were before. Unfortunately, these devices (and their accompanying applications) can be a little noisy. Our older headphones have taken quite the beating, and many have stopped working. The ear padding is falling apart, and many students complain about aching ears. New headphones will help us all in a variety of ways. My students have also requested new noise-blocking headphones. These will help distracted students focus amidst moments of chaos, and will aid me in offsetting classroom noisiness.
