My students are creative thinkers that are not afforded many of the luxuries other students are. They come from a low income area in California where many of society's burdens weigh heavily upon them. Despite their situation, my students continue to strive for a better education to realize their goal of making it into college. My students are young and curious investigators that attend a school where 100% of the student population falls under the free and reduced lunch program. The school has been staffed with many teachers dedicated to their students' achievement and growth since its inception in 2010.
