My third graders are an awesome group of kids. Our district is located in western Pennsylvania. We are a high poverty area that has a lot of obstacles to overcome. In saying that, we have awesome parents that are willing to go above and beyond to give their children all that they need. My class this year consists of 14 boys and 11 girls. They are everything from shy and quiet to rambunctious and eager to learn. They welcome the challenges of every day and are receptive to whatever is asked of them.
