A document camera would allow my students experience visual learning via projected images. Any object or source that can not be easily digitized or is better analyzed in three dimensions needs an alternative method for presentation. The act of simply holding up an object does not allow students to see detail and passing an object or resource around carries the potential for it to be lost or broken. A simple document camera will allow me to display physical resources that are not available online, opening up a world of information that can be seen and explored by all of my students simultaneously.
