Muffling the sound of my screaming chairs will help not only my students but the classrooms next to me. I am in a science room that has rubber floors with metal chairs. When students move the chairs it makes the loudest and most unpleasant sound I've ever heard. I plan on putting these tennis balls on the legs of the chairs so when students move it isn't announced to the rest of the school. Donations for this project will greatly improve my classroom environment. I not only have 7 classes a day, I also have kids moving during class. The reduction in noise would be a blessing to my sanity, the student's nerves, and my neighboring classrooms.
