At my school, our students have so much potential! The majority of them are exposed to poverty, abuse, drugs, and violence. A few of them face additional challenges such as having to get a job to help at home because of their economic status. Other challenges may be that they are second language learners or have kids of their own. Yet, they put a lot of effort and try to achieve their goals. Located in Southern California, our school is not like a traditional high school. We have a small setting where we, teachers and students, all know each other very well. Even though we are a small school, we are very limited in funds. With current budget cuts and shortages, 2 digital cameras will make a difference in enriching my students' learning.
