The funding I am requesting is to acquire technology for my classroom. My students will use the technology to search information online for their research papers. This also will provide them with access to Google Docs application to type their research and access to the reading program Istation. In addition, they will use the technology to post videos and pictures of their work on ClassDojo. Your funding will help my students by implementing technology as part of our Writer's Workshop model and Learning Center, and my students will begin to see themselves as true authors and content creators. Furthermore, my students will create and archive their electronic dossier for future reference. The donations to my classroom will provide my students with copious opportunities to use technology in the classroom. I sincerely need your support in bringing my classroom closer to the 21st century.
