My students love coming to my class. Each day we actively engage in learning in ways where many students don't realize that they are learning skills that will translate to nearly every single job field. In my class, students read, respond, and create a myriad of types of theatre. We not only explore onstage theatre but all the roles of backstage theatre as well. We use a lot of manipulatives in my class and their favorite is always LEGO. My class provides an application of core subjects, and many students find understanding the concepts in a different way that theatre approaches the concept than their core class. All in all my class is where every discipline converges with each other to create art and life.
