At the beginning of my class, each student picks up a Post-It Note from my desk and starts a 5 minute drawing based off of a prompt written on the board. These are turned into me for a graded during every hour. This starts every one of my classes, with each student creating their own piece of art. I currently teach 241 students a day. By the end of the project, I should have somewhere around 43,380 individual drawings from my amazing classes, filling an entire display! I have been purchasing these notes on my own, but that has proven cost prohibitive for me. My students would love to finish this community art project out by the end of their school year!
