I am a the Librarian, AVID coordinator, and Community Schools coordinator at Polk Middle School. I am dedicated to helping students understand and evaluate the origins, functions and structures of technology and society, and comprehend the significance of technology as it relates to cultural diversity and the work place. Students will go beyond basic word processing and presentations skills; this class will further develop reading and writing competencies, teamwork, data management, and critical thinking skills. I am also focused on creating partnerships in the community and spotlighting student achievements and school initiatives.
