I am on my third year at Taft High School. Taft is a Chicago Public School and you may not be aware but we have been having a budget crises these last couple of years. Most of my students come from middle class and low income families and have been impacted greatly from Chicago's budget cuts. Our principal has done a great job with Taft's budget but the State and City has not found a solution. Our school has about 3,300 students and that is about 1,000 more students for our capacity. Any donations would be greatly appreciated for Taft's community.
