In the 21st century, sometimes 6th graders can tend to have a "too cool for school" mindset and don't feel like working on the material and activities put in front of them. My students are NOT those 6th graders. These 6th graders are EXCITED to come to school every day, eager to "try out Mr. Flaherty's next new thing." These students LOVE to experience new activities and explore new tasks, and I think that BreakoutEDU boxes would be the perfect new activity for them to explore. I can picture it now... The perseverance, hard work, and teamwork between the students as they try to process and successfully break out. It makes me smile at what I know it will be. Please help me and my students turn this dream into a reality!
