Our school is located in the heart of Delaware's farmland. Despite this we are a very diverse school with almost 50% of our students being minorities. As is common in very rural areas poverty is quite common with over forty percent of our children coming from low income families. They are enthusiastic, kind, and hard workers, but sometimes just lack the resources they need to be as successful as they could be. My class is at the end of their high school science education, being 11th and 12th grades. I want to try and make an impression on them to keep exploring the world with a scientific eye and so they know how to find the science they need.

About my class
