Our economically and racially diverse HS students need practical, real-world examples and experiences to help understand science concepts. These supplies will help to create a Living Classroom for applied science. Our Living Classroom will consist of an outdoor garden, soil and aquatic chemistry labs, and small demo fish tanks for livebearers and cichlids. Finally, a composter will complete the outdoor garden by allowing student understanding of the critical role of decomposition within any given cycle of matter and energy. Any garden crops will be given to a local food bank/soup kitchen. Thanks for helping my students to succeed in science!

About my class
