Students learn best with hands-on activities. Programming is no different. These Arduino MEGA kits will allow my students to learn to program and see the results of their programming in action. With switches and LEDs, they will be able to experiment and "learn by doing." The goal is to learn programming by doing - which may involve failures along the way - which is awesome in Engineering classes! The ability to create a program and then see it in action is invaluable to the engineering and learning process. My goal is to teach them the basics, give them problems to solve, and then challenge them to create something of their own!
