The school library doesn't allow students to take the books out of the classroom, so I have spent well over $1,400 dollars of my own money buying soft cover books the students can take to their rooms. The interest in these books has been overwhelming. Due to this overwhelming success, many of the books need replacing. However, I no longer can fund this adventure. I have students reading that haven't read since grade school. I have students reading from 2 to 7 books a week! I have books that haven't sat on a shelf for more than a few hours in the past month. It is now cool to read in the Pod, and I could use some help replacing books that are just plain worn out. Please consider supporting my effort to support my students outside of school hours with exciting books to read.
