This project will help my students with the supplies for dozens of science and engineering challenges. We build projects to learn about forces, earth and life sciences. We attempted to do this lab last year with Elmer's wood glue, but it just took too long to dry and set. The main goal is to research, design, build and test the bridges to see how strong they are and how much they can hold. Our district has an awesome pressure tester, but the students lost interest in the build process because it was taking so long, and we didn't have a place to keep creations while they were drying. Bridges would get broken or lost.
