Welcome to Mr. Cerrato's classroom at Miami Southridge Senior High School. As of the 2018-2019 academic year, our school will be entering its 44th year of serving the communities of South Miami Heights, Cutler Bay, and Perrine in Miami-Dade County Public Schools. This school year, I am proud to be teaching Debate and United States History. I am proud to be at Miami Southridge Senior as it was also my Alma Mater. I deeply want to give back to my students as it was the teachers I had in my years at Southridge that inspired me to join their ranks in this noble profession. The goals for my classroom are to make my students into free thinkers. I want them to be able to process the knowledge of our past so that they may be able to make the proper decisions for our future. I believe that through the passion I convey for my students and my love of history, they will be motivated to achieve their true passion.
